Restonic Mattress Corp. and Salt Lake Mattress & Mfg. Co. have entered into a licensing agreement, the companies announced. Salt Lake Mattress, based in Salt Lake City, will increase Restonic’s U.S. footprint of manufacturing facilities to 13.

“We’re very excited to begin our journey with Salt Lake Mattress, aligning our mutual heritage of providing exceptional products, customer service and retail support with a forward focus on growth in today’s ever-fluid marketplace,” said Ron Passaglia, CEO and president of Restonic. “With the combined power of our brands, which includes Scott Living, Biltmore and our Consumer’s Digest award-winning Restonic ComfortCare, we’re confident we’ll enjoy a long and successful partnership.”

Salt Lake Mattress has been manufacturing bedding products for the inter-mountain west market since 1892. Curt Crowther, who purchased the company in 1985, credits its success to being a local business that services the needs of small and large retailers, with the ability to make smart, timely decisions easily.

“Joining Restonic is a strong strategic move and affords us the opportunity to diversify and supply our retailers with the power of the Restonic brand, which includes nimble flexibility, customization and strong retailer support,” said Crowther.

Crowther表示:“加入Restonic是一项有力的战略举措,为我们提供了机会,使我们的零售商多样化并提供Restonic品牌的力量,其中包括灵活的灵活性,定制化和强大的零售商支持。”

In 2018, the U.S. Census Bureau ranked Utah as the third-fastest growing state in the U.S., slightly behind Nevada and Idaho, noting that 43% of the growth is attributed to people moving to the state. Restonic and Salt Lake Mattress officials said they are excited to capitalize on that rapidly growing market.
